You will run the club’s weekly meetings, provide leadership and input toward the direction of the club’s operations that semester, and serve as the point of contact for incoming inquiries from other organizations on campus. Chief operating officer
It’s the COO’s job to make sure our organization is running as well as it possibly can, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations of our startups and student participants. You will decide things like when and where the club meets for recurring meetings, help coordinate on-campus events, and set up an engagement framework for the startup and student participants in the Ventureships program.
Chief Financial Officer
The treasurer’s job is, in many ways, the most important job on the board of our organization. The club treasurer is responsible for all of a club’s money, both incoming and outgoing, and needs to take charge with our finances. This includes submitting reimbursements for costs incurred in event planning, promotional purchases and advertising. You will also be receiving the payment from our startups for the program fee and ensuring it is submitted to our funding account.
We have multiple program manager roles available. Each program manager will have a chance to choose which company they would like to serve as the primary liaison between the startup and the students for that semester. They will also be the primary point of contact between the Ventureships club and the startup, ensuring that important dates and deadlines are met. You will also be responsible for collecting program fees from the startup.
